Inside Line Promotions – LAWTON, Okla. (May 23, 2017) – Harli White is going back to Square One this weekend when she ventures to Colorado for the first time in her career.

“Our race car hasn’t been working well lately and we haven’t done the right things to fix what the car is doing,” she said. “We’ve been kind of lost. I’m not getting into the corner good and it’s causing the right rear to not stick. We haven’t been able to get the car to hook up.”

The team built a new race car to compete last Saturday at Lawton Speedway during an ASCS Red River Region event. However, after finishing sixth in a heat race and not running well in the B Main White pulled off the track early.

The fortunate news is that she had an extra set of eyes – her father – at the track and he offered a new perspective.

“We’ve been struggling with being loose exiting the corner, but he noticed we weren’t doing well entering the corners,” she said. “We’re making some setup adjustments that should help beginning this weekend in Colorado.”

White will compete on Saturday at El Paso County Raceway in Calhan and on Sunday at Phillips County Raceway in Holyoke with the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour. Colorado will be the fourth different new state White has raced in this season after making her debut in Florida, Mississippi and Alabama.

“We get around pretty well at new places for the most part,” she said. “I’m looking forward to it because nobody has raced there either. It’s a fair playing field. It’s another state to add to our list. It will be fun.”

White will have her t-shirt trailer with new merchandise by the main grandstands each night.
